Every night is a crooning and swooning evening at the Reservoir Lounge. Being Toronto’s premier jazz and blues lounge means that celebrities like Prince, Rod Stewart and Nick Nolte can be spotted. –A.C.

This is the best place in Toronto for old school jazz! The ambiance is warm, staff is uber-friendly (especially the Rod Stewart lookalike doorman!)and the food is divine. Keep it up guys!

This place is awesome! I recommend Bradley and the Bouncers on Wednesday but any night is good. Love the drinks and food.

i first 'discovered' this place a few years back and it now one of my favourite lounges in the city. the music is first class, the service is friendly and honest, and the drinks are delicious. it is a little pricy and the place tend to attract an older crowd (30+), but it is all good for a night out on the town. i am not sure what the person above was complaining about...i ve been going there for a while and never had a problem with service or managment...definately one of toronoto best kept secrets.

The servers served two friends of mine this evening, who had been drinking for some time, then attempted to upcharge them. Furthermore, they accused them of trying to run out on the bill even after they had cleared their bar tab. The server was rude and profane and the manager slightly less so. If I owned this bar I would be embarassed by the lack of professionalism and courtesy. Not only is this in violation of smart serve but upcharging is ILLEGAL.

Kelly, the manager, concurred with the server insulting both of them without asking a question even though the bar tab had been paid in full.

If this is the way that this bar does business, it isn't worth the great music that they showcased.
