Then again, sometimes when I get mentioning I can't stop, so I might as well mention that Pulp Kitchen isn't perfect. Later day folks will notice that they are out of luck, as the restaurant’s lights go out at 5:00pm. The “Home-Made substances, like peanut sauce and ketchup taste like they started as a mix; the soups are a bit erratic - a spectacular soup one day may be dull and bland the next Still, if you brave the cold, cruel world of Queen East - and please note that due to the arrival of, Yes, construction season - you, too, may find yourself rejoicing in the offerings of a sweet, little cafe, never aware that the whole deal is vegetarian.

Easily my favorite restaurant in Toronto. The food is amazing and always fresh, the servers are helpful, the atmosphere is super relaxed and although it's a little pricey, you get what you pay for. I would prefer to spend more and not have weird additives or mystery ingredients that are found at other restaurants. The only improvement I could suggest is if they were to move closer to my apartment. It's good enough for Samuel L. Jackson and Natalie Portman, it's certainly great to me.

This review is for brunch only. I really wanted to rate this 1.5 because they attempt to do some interesting things on the brunch menu. However, the service is poor - think some disinterested high school students. The food is fine if you are used to eating wheat dust and oat chips regularly. Fortunately I'm not vegetarian. The sadest part of the experience is that because the restaurant is located in the new Queen West of the East they get away with a location tax on top of the vegan tax. Stay at home and enjoy freshly squeezed carrots.
