MAY 18, 2008: IN THE MIDDLE OF JANUARY MY FAMILY AND CLOSE FRIENDS WENT TO PANGAEA ON BAY ST FOR A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION AND HAD A FABULOUS TIME. WE ALL ORDERED DIFFERENT ITEMS FROM THE MENU BUT THE MOST IMPRESSIVE WAS CHEVAL TARTAR-OUTSTANDING-WE ALL SAMPLED VERY DISCRETELY NOT TO SAY THAT WOULD WE FROWNED UPON IN SUCH AN UPSCALE RESTAURANT. MY SON AND HUSBAND HAD CARIBOU AND WAS GIVEN THE SAME APPLAUSE. STAFF AND SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. MY UTMOST COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF AND TO ALL WHO HELPED IN MAKING OUR EVENING A SUCCESS. THANKS AGAIN ROMA HOSZKA.

Went to Pangea on January 29, 2008 for their Winterlicious menu. Food was outstanding. Service however, was a different story. Our table of 7 was quite appalled at the attitude displayed by our waiter. Disgustingly rude and brute from the time of our seating. I get far better service when going to Swiss Chalet.

because of the location i am sure this place is overlooked, but it is actually very good. the food is fantastic, the service is super friendly. good for quite dinners.
