n the competitive coffee purveyors industry, each little java shop has to find their niche to succeed and the Queen West outpost of this East End coffee co. has found it. The upscale espresso bar offers a selection of roasts and blends that are matched up with Toronto’s most identifiable and charismatic ‘hoods (try the Queen West dark city, full bodied blend if you are in the mood for a jolt). The frosted drinks are equally delicious to cool the body down after a jaunt along Queen West. My recommendation: the frosted chocolate banana topped with whip cream.
For those who like spice in their life (who doesn’t?), there are two Chai bevies to entice you with aromatic flavors (an Indian Masala or French Parisian). To impress your mummy when she takes you out surprise grocery shopping, head here between 11:00am-4:00pm on the weekend for a Sugar high tea complete with a tiered tray of sweets and a pot of tea. You’ve never had a cuppa like it!
