Finding street parking takes patience and the proper karma; Dundas West is not valet service territory, but give it time. The best strategy, other than dining extra-early, is to visit midweek, when parking spaces and vacant tables are less rare.

10 Reader Reviews | I love this place. I hadn't been for dinner in a while so maybe I was having withdrawal, but it was even better than I remember. After taking our order our server brought our daughter a little bowl of chick peas while we waited for our food. It was a perfect snack for a hungry toddler. We had the rigatoni which is super rich and not good for the arteries but man it's delicious. We also got the chicken special and the fish special. Both were fantastic (and yes, we had leftovers--portions are generous). We still go for brunch every once in a while when it is invariably jam packed. I'm surprised it's not just as packed at dinner, when the food is, in my opinion, even better than the brunch food.

Went to MUSA for brunch for the first time today. Have heard friends rave about the place. I sat down and then was promptly informed that they had run out of Hollandaise Sauce. It was 12:45 on sunday. How can you run of a staple of a brunch menu?? What's worse is my friend that I was meeting, told me this is not eh first time this has happened.
I am pretty forgiving, so I will try the restaurant again but I would also ban it if that happened to me again. I can make eggs and bacon at home. I do not however make Hollandaise at home, that's why I go out for it.

This has been one of our fav places ever since it opened. We miss the Alex's though. We go for the Buzz draft (way better than the bottle), the moussaka and the falafel.

So good: I'm allergic to Peanuts, Nuts, Peas, Beans, Fish and Seafood and never have gotten sick from eating breakfast here! The service might be casual - but that's what makes it great! Have a laugh and chat to the genuine servers... also, my favourite breakfast place in toronto! (On the weekends only i think), Try ordering THE SANDWIDGE! best item ever. (i like it without the swiss cheese). So delicious! Mmmm and the rosemary roasted potatoes on the side! AMAZING!

Decided to try it tonight with a friend and I was quite satisfied. The service was relatively good and the chicken special we each ordered was very tasty - well done without being overcooked and well portioned. Our server was friendly and it was a quiet Friday night, so there was no problem getting a table. Calamari left a little to be desired, but our server was more than understanding and compensated with more bread and hummus snacks. No complaints really as it was an enjoyable evening all around. Would definitely try it again and recommend to those interested in having a pleasant dinner or date without hurry.

My first visit to Musa went well. The second time I would have to say it was perhaps the worst service I have experienced in years. They were not that busy yet it took at least 15 to 20 minutes before a drink order was taken. We ordered two calamaris (excellent last time) for an appetizer and two mains. The mains came after a very, very long time. Maybe 45 minutes. No calamari. The waitress asked if we still wanted them. Yes. Long after the mains were dropped off, one lone calamari shows up. When we asked about the second one, the dim waitress asked twice if we really wanted it. Yes! It was probably 30 minutes later when it still hadn't come she was by again. When we asked where the second calamari was, we were again asked if we still wanted it. She had forgotten again! We said to forget it and left. Sad. I wish there was a lower rating possible here for the service. I would use it. No one there got any better service than we did either.

my bf and i went to musa last month and we really liked this place.... all items on the menu looked so good that we took our time to decide what to order, and finally we decided to try pasta and the special of the day and found them amazing... both were really good, but taking account of the price i guess the winner is the pasta-with spinach and a big juicy fillet of salmon on top of it...yummy yummy;)
the server was also very nice and so was the atmosphere.
the only downside to this place is...the price is a LITTLE high(special was about $16 and the pasta $13)
but overall we had a good time and i recomend this place to anyone!

I always love reading reviews of places that are as good as Musa, and finally get the recognition that they deserve - people get upset that they're no longer able to get a table whenever they decide to stroll through the doors. News flash: restaurants are in business to make money! To make money, they must have lots and lots of customers so that they can pay their big downtown rents, pay their suppliers & staff and hopefully have a little bit of money at the end of it all to pay themselves a little something as well. People in this city seem to think that all restaurants are in business to cater only to their needs. They're not. So next time you go to Musa (or any other restaurant in the city for that matter) and you have to wait for a table, be happy! If they're consistently busy then perhaps they'll be around for a long time, serving up food that makes us all happy.
