Service is terrible. Food is terrible. Everytime I go. I guess being in the distillery, they believe they can be stuck up. Go at your own peril

I love that there are so many other people out there who think this place is shite!! it was one of my first pubs I went too when I arrived in TO and it sucked balls - the food is just terrible, and the servers need a rocket up their ass to get anything done in a timely manner! We had a bet at our table tos ee who could get the server to smile first! I work in the industry and it disgusts me to see jackass servers like that! Betty's is much better quality with great staff or for a true pub atmosphere try House on Parliament :)

Location isn't everything...Service (sirly) and food (just plain bad) are equally important and two of the three are sadly missing from this establishment.
May I have the address for Betty's please???

hmm....the food is often inconsistent - sometimes great, more often than not a disappointment. There are a few good servers, but what the hell is with the grumpy ones. Some of those people just don't know how to smile.
Great looking patio though! Nice atmosphere.
Go and check it out. Don't expect it to change the world (because it won't) bring friends and have time to relax. The beer is really great!

I live in the distillery and have been to the pub a few times. It's really the only affordable restaurant within the distillery. Unfortunately my dining experiences there have left me frustrated and mad. Order the burger and you might get, as I have a couple of times, a shrunken overcooked patty on an oversized bun. This is usually accompanied by service I charitably describe as woeful. Rude and inattentive. To add to the insult your garnish might include a small wilted piece of lettuce and a pathetically small tomato slice. The fries are okay. $12. please! Once I tried the wings. They were so heavily slathered in some sauce from a jar we had to send them back. Inedible. The waiter responded with plenty of attitude and then brought them again EXACTLY as they were. Thanks dimwit. Where do they get those people? The beer is very good but I'll go to Betty's when I need a real burger at a real price.

iam doing a review of this whole company fab concepts wich in clude its irish pub family the pour house foggey dew and brazen head irsh pub. after going in to the kitchen it is quick to note that most things are coming out of a package gravey coleslaw curry dressings that in my minde should be made fresh if you are a true irish pub wich this place is not just a gfs factory which people in the food service know as factory food.all so to note i went to find out who is in charge of this mess of a pub.s food and found out that it was a man from hongkong then it all made sens the asian people want to just use msg and all that funn stuff. if they had a real irish chef this would not be going down because this is a slap in the face to irish people..

I couldn't be more disappointed and disgusted with Mill Street Pub, in what was my first and last visit there. Was there for my 30th birthday in February/08. After spending a great night there with a gang of friends that drank and ate all night (so basically a hefty tab) - we uncerimoniously had our beers forcibly grabbed out of our hands (I kid you not) after last call was called, by a bartender with a major attitude problem. Left my number with the manager that was on duty that night to further discuss the problem, and never even got a call back. Great PR there Mill Street... a birthday I know I'll never forget for all the wrong reasons.
Glad to see Betty's is one the list though - great patio on a hot summer day.
