E astenders have been curious about the absent For Rent sign in the window of the old Mistral spot for the last few weeks. Well, be curious no more because renovations are compete: Magic Oven's sixth location has debuted.
For those of you who haven’t experienced our city’s best pizza yet let me convince you. Magic Oven is a family run business with a strong focus on health. They offer pizzas for diets of every kind. Their pizzas come in dairy free, gluten free, lactose free, preservative free, trans-fat free, vegan, vegetarian and wheat free options. Their ingredients are mostly organic and all their meat is local and free-range.
I suggest you try the Tropical Magic pizza on your first go. It comes with pineapple, roasted coconut, Parma prosciutto, olive oil, garlic, fresh mango and asiago cheese. Magic Oven’s signature pizza is also a delight to masticate. The organic spelt crust is topped with a medley of grilled veggies, chunks of chicken breast, salami, goat cheese and mozzarella with a light herb tomato sauce. This magical slice is garnished with 24 karat gold leaves and goes for about $108 for a large. It is what 50 Cent would order, to be sure. The other, gold-free pizzas go for $15 - $35 depending on the size.
Magic Oven does delivery and take-out as well as sit-down service. Let them introduce you to pizza properly. –J.T.

6 Reader Reviews | I think the poor reviews have something to do with the location since I had a good lunch at the Wellesley location. The server was tentative and our food came quickly. The pizza I ordered was good, but was a bit on the pricey side.

NO STARS FOR YOU!! Worst food ever, not only did they send the wrong food, it was stone cold, in fact it was old..did they deliver me someone elses order; an order that was refused? AND who makes a Greek salad without feta cheese? This is from the 360 Queen Street location, never again!

Magic Oven is overpriced garbage. Quality is completely uneven. Now they're using prepackaged crap in all their locations, as the owner is too focused on selling the chain than maintaining quality. They have tried to shop their brand all over town but neglected the business. Too bad, it used to pretty good.

Listen...this whole outfit is a sad, they constantly try to pass themselves off as "healthy food" yet the owners are always trying to give less for more at your expense....now as their ill managed businesses fail miserably the tendency to cut back at the customers expense is outrageous. On one occasion when we ordered a dish with red peppers they gave us green peppers, sure restaurants run out of things..but this happened over and over...despite the menu reflecting red peppers...not to mention their never the same way twice standards of cooking.....save your money,or spend it elsewhere

Never Again...at one time Magic Oven was good, expensive but good. Now it sucks! The prices have gone up and the quality way down and on top of spending so much on the food alone, you have to pay for delivery. After giving it chance after chance, I'm officially done. Been sick twice, had order screwed at least a couple of times with poor customer service and received very scantily clad pizzas. Not worth it! Save yourself...order elsewhere.

Used to be better in the 80's. But kinda gone downhill since then... or perhaps I was more easily amused back then.
