    Review by Andrew Byer
The envelope of Toronto's night scene has just been given a formidable push with Lot 332. This multifoliate club/lounge is turning heads with fresh eclectic innovation, and the retractable roof over the main area certifies it.

While satiating a spectrum of taste, this club will impress the jaded club vet; an Asiatic dragon cast in ambient candlelight welcomes you to the three main areas. The first is all about earth tones with a slight African infusion but with a small identity crisis between dance floor and lounge area. Unless full of people, it feels too big and bare. When full, good luck finding a seat at one of the few bean bag chairs tucked in the corner.

The main area, is where the talk-o-the-town retractable roof waits. No longer must one over-imbibe to be seeing stars on the dance floor, as automatic sensors decide when to give patrons one serious breath of fresh air. This classifies Lot 332 as a patio and therefore smoking is permitted. An idea like this seems a golden road, but the novelty will be short lived. Though the stars will remain with the roof open, smoke clouds will dissipate as Toronto reports it will be banning smoking in areas defined as patios within a prospected three years.

Bathrooms are top-step impressive. Private unisex stalls are set up like private changing rooms, attendants are happy to point you to a vacant closet. Full side wall mirrors double the feel of space which without could have brought on cases of claustrophobia.

the music was the same, bland, poppy euro beats the whole time, the ratio of men to women was 10:1 and the air was chock-full of second-hand smoke.

Haven't been by Lot in a while and I was surprised to see they renovated. The place looks really good now, as the older version looked a little beat up.

I went on Halloween Night and got through the massive line. Nice to see that the bouncers still take of the old regulars, even though I haven't been by in a while.

The place was absolutely crazy for a Wednesday night, but it was Halloween. The music was blah top 40, but the bartenders and the women made up for it. So many hot chicas.

Overall, I would go to Lot again because it looks great now.

This club is the best place to go especially if you are of age 21+ for its crowd is usually more mature in comparison to the numerous kiddy clubs that dominate the entertainment district (on a Saturday at least). They always play good music (from what I can remember) and is always packed. Never takes long to get into even if its midnight. Although I don't like the fact that their patio is part of the VIP area, so you cannot go outside and get a breath of fresh air / smoke if you desire. However, my friend and I were able to sneak through and met someone who works at Lot and is kind enough to provide us with VIP bracelets. Oh, another thing I don't like is how people smoke INSIDE the club. The club is ALWAYS smoke-filled. I HATE that. Everytime I leave the club, I feel like I myself smoked...quite disgusting. Something should be done about this considering smoking indoors is not legal in Toronto.

I went to Lot with excitement and anticipation with 10 of my girlfriends for Halloween. I had never been there before so i called DOMINIC the guest list guy and booked. When we showed up at 10:20 (guest list closes at 11:30) the bouncer said that they weren't taking any guest list. I honestly called that day and Dominic said nothing to me. I asked to speak with him and he wouldn't come out to speak with me. So, we waited.. like idiots. Once inside the club was very nice. But unexpectedly people were smoking inside. i was actually burned by some drunk under-ager. So our night went on... the music never changed from house & tech no. Dominic told me on the phone that it was a top 40, R&B and hip hop... lied. It was genio beats all night long.
Now it gets worse. The topper to the evening was when i went to retrieve my crown off of a speaker i had unknowingly stepped into the borders of a roped VIP area. I honestly had no idea and i was sober. An older man (40ish) tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to leave. Keep in mind he was a guest there. I told him that i was trying to reach my crown and i even asked him for help. i turned around to reach for it again and he grabbed my arm, hard. i asked him to let go and he said i needed to leave right now. i tried to pull away and he just held me harder. So, i told him were to go... and walked away (without my crown) he didn't like that.. i guess it was a blow to his ego and he called the bouncer over. Wouldn't you know it, we where the ones kicked out. All 10 of us. I am to say the least very unhappy with the staff at Lot332. i cant believe just because the man was VIP he got us kicked out and he was the one that hurt me. I really don't understand and I'm disgusted. i honestly could have pressed charges against this man he was very agressive and Lot did nothing about. Better Business Bureau will be called.

I finally visited Lot 332 on a Thursday night. My friends have been telling me about it for a while now and I finally had a chance to check it out last night. I have to say I had a great time. I'm not sure who was DJing but I didnt stop dancing most of the night. The crowd was mostly in their late 20s and everyone seemed to be having a good time---GREAT VIBE!!! I'll definantely be back.

I've been a patron of Lot 332's since it opened a little while back, and, although I have ulterior motives for writing this review ;) here's my honest take: Lot's never disappointed. The many aspects worthy of mention include it's stylish, warm, not over-the-top decor, the fact that it's got the roof (ok, I know everyone knows about that one), and most importantly, the music they showcase. For the most part, it's quality, and it's one of the few places where cool looking people don't mind looking not-so-cool on the dance floor, which is great and speaks volumes in itself. I've been a part of the TO 'club scene' for quite some time, and I found an authenticity here that most places lacked. Bar and club staff are first rate and it's really no wonder that the place became so popular. From the first glance I can understand it may look snooty, but the experience is what you make of it, right?
