There is enough alcohol flowing on Queen West to require even the most indefatigable of drinkers getting their stomach pumped. All those hipsters could use some day-time relief that doesn't come in the form of grease on a plate. They're not getting any younger after all. Enter Liquid Nutrition.

This brand started in Montreal serving protein shakes to body builders at the three gyms surrounding their little store. Now they have expanded, providing nutritional supplements in smoothie form.
On the juice tap: the morning time Early Bird, which features soy milk, banana, blueberries, raspberries, oatmeal, and honey; the Ebony or Ivory, a segregationist melange of either chocolate of vanilla mixed with soy milk, protein, and banana; the temptress, Acai, with soy milk, guarana, pineapples, honey, and strawberry; the fantastically named Banago (you can figure out what's in it); and several other dense liquid meals.
Liquid Nutrition is now open in Toronto, with further expansions (notably stateside in Miami in New York) on the horizon; it's a great way to wean yourself off that coffee, cigarette, and cheap beer diet. –C.S.
