rom a block away, you can see the swollen line-up leading to Level’s front door. Deep inside the monster club at the foot of Peter and Adelaide, the speakers are blasting a techno remix of the Stefani single “Rock Steady” and a herd of social strivers are trying to do just that. The just-opened club has thrown not one, but two grand openings; one for the main Level, and one for its rooftop patio, Wetbar.
Touring through the levels of the club - through a non-decorated red stairwell - left me catching my breath at the top. Only the staircase left me breathless. For what the club displayed – from entranceway to rooftop deck - was a monotonous rehash of the club land formula.
With the main Level area in all red and the rooftop in all white, designers could be angling for a lust theme for the former and heavenly for the latter, yet both drop short at dull. The plain interior, while monstrously large, is uninspiring with the requisite LCD screens and bottle-service areas. While the rooftop sees more Lycra curtains and leather sofas bookend by two crowded bars on the north and south.
Recycled bartenders, very familiar with the clubland empire, man the counters for the mid to late twenties crowd. A certain crowd, I can’t help but notice, heads straight to Wetbar to avoid Level’s monstrosity of a line up. The invitation said dress to impress, but it didn’t look like everybody got it. A lifeless bunch filled the floor chatting away as if by the water cooler, discussing the latest reality TV hit. The vibe was standoffish and stuck-up, something easy to find in the entertainment district.

This club is the worse club i've ever been to. I can only use one word to describe this place - GARBAGE! I totally regret celebrating my birthday there. I reserve bottle service ahead of time and was told that i get line bypass and free entrance. In the end, i had to line up, pay for entrance and got extremely rude service. These people really dont deserve to run a club cuz you treat your customers like shit. I got scammed big time. The place smelt like PUKE the whole night. There werent many choices for bottle service and they serve you cheap vodka which you can buy for $3 in cuba. I will never again even consider going to this club and i will probably tell everyone i know that this club is worse than sitting home on a friday night.

my first time goin to level on saturday may 12, i was very dissapointed on the fact that i planned my friends bday and went there, the venue was nice but the music sucks!!!!!! like who plays mike bubble at the club evn michael jackson songs and pure old songs that i never heard of. On the advertising it says hiphop, reggae top 40 and other mix..but seriously we gotta wait every half and hour for the DJ to play good songs and wasn't even a lot, maybe 3-4 songs. We all had a bad night and wished we went somewhere else, but the thing was when I got there, they were playing good tunes until people started comin in. It was the worst feeling ever!!!!u should just put on your advertising that you play oldie tunes.

Went to level for the first time only because my friend is a bouncer there and he had free tickets for me and my friends... So I think i'm the only reviewer here who didnt have to wait in line for 1 second and who didnt have to spend a single penny. Having said that i still was not impressed with the club which is to say that even going to level for free was almost not worth the time. The music was the worst part, the Dj played micheal jackson then he would switch to black eyed peas then to trance then to hip hop and other random track switches. A good dj should move everyone onto the dancefloor but the minute people would start dancing to a nice track (rarely) he would cut if off and go to some random song u here everyday on the radio. The club itself is attractive i must admit, and good sound system, and the bars served drinks fast.
summary: bad music, bad dj (which is enough to reuin the club experience and the image of the club)

Too many doorstaff collecting money to get around this monster club. Club, overall was good but its ridiculous how much money has to be passed to the doorstaff to even get moved to the fron of the line outside. What a rip off and what a bad way to start the night $75.oo in the hole.

How many admission does a person have to pay to get into this club. Once, under the table with the doorstaff outside, once at the front entrance which was usual admission and once agin to the greedy big fat doorman named Gary. Thats not a very good $$$ system

Hi there,
I just happened to go to Wetbar this past friday and I dont know but I felt like it was more like a lounge then a club scene. I might be wrong in believing that it was going to be a club scene correct me if I am wrong.
But my sister and I were the only ones dancing in the area felt awkward and went back to seat ourselfs down. The music was very low so I think so I think my impression was this was a place to have a couple of drinks and chat with people mingle.
Overall the place was sooo hot and I think I only got some relief twice as the wind blew some cool comfort to our faces. The view to one side of Wetbar was nice as you can see the CN Tower. on the other side we can see a skeleton of a building being erected.
I didnt like the idea of the washrooms of men and women sharing them. It might be a great way of sparking a conversation with the opposite sex perhaps.

We were a group of 4 girls, planning an upcoming bachelorette party, wanting to check out Level on its first Saturday night (opening weekend). At 12:30pm, we spoke to the short, tan-happy doorman, who rudely told us that he couldn't help us with our bottle-service questions because he and everyone else was too busy (perhaps he was struggling to manage the 12 quiet guys waiting patiently at the door to get in). He had no phone number we could call, and we would have to pay $20 to take a look inside. Here's a tip, Level: try being NICE to your patrons. Customer service and word-of-mouth goes a long way.
