As slick as Torontonians are about all things food- and-health-related, when it comes to salad, we’re just a bunch of bumpkins.

Lettuce Eatery founder Matthew Corrin is determined to change all that, as this week sees the launch of his latest Lettuce Eatery outpost and the launch of his Catering Division.

This is Corrin’s fifth location, just north of St. Clair, but he's not stopping there. “We’re on a roll,” notes Corrin. “Our mission is to change the way Torontonian’s can enjoy healthy and fresh food in a quick-service and lively setting”.

This kiosk is a little different than the others, offering 'yoggi', frozen yogurt to cool off your palate during those hot summer nights.

The stylish restaurant offers up custom-designed salads and sandwiches made from more than seventy ingredients, including four types of lettuce, twenty dressings, and an extraordinary variety of fresh vegetables, grilled meats and cheeses. - R.B.

This place is always a disaster when I come to get my salad. There is a mess everywhere, but it seems as though the company is severely understaffed. They are constantly missing several ingredients, of which are vital in one's salad. The servers are rather friendly, overall, although they look as though they may need a bit of a hand, considering the line ups go up to the staircase.
