We thought that this new addition to the Yonge Street Death Row was too good to be true when it opened this year and started serving Mexican take-out lunch items, along with aguas frescas, ices, and other treats. With its brightly colored tables and chairs to allow patrons to either sitd down or take out, things get better and better with some of the hottest dang salsa on God's green Earth.
It's a good thing that La Mexicana has some super fine agua fresca limonada to wash it all down. Just keep it comin', 'cause you'll need just such a belly washer when you tear into their amazing house taco, La Mexicana’s Taco, a monster of bean, cheese, potato, bacon, and hold on, Nellie, brisket. Ooh, and some of the most tender, tastiest brisket, to boot. - R.L.

5 Reader Reviews | It's twice now that this has happened to me when after a good meal, the waiter comes and clean the table and guess what, the utensil drops on me!! And of course, they walk away with their dishes and never to be seen again. No apologies, no compensations, nothing!!!
So, all I can say is “Beware of flying knives”!! ...no compensation for near injury and left clothes damaged.
