his cute as a button café located in Forest Hill is the penultimate place to dine à deux on either one of their two menus. During the daytime hours, the café serves up a series of eggs (Benedict, omelets, etc.) as well as the favourite French toast dish, sandwiches and soups for light appetites.
Why not indulge in a glass of wine for brunch? Fully licensed, Hope Street makes it possible to consume one of their many martini concoctions with your mid-morning meal. Come dinnertime, the second menu is in effect, full of grilled seafood treats, steaks, pastas and their famed Baby Back ribs, cooked slowly in a Hickory BBQ sauce with a wonderful smoky flavour. Conveniently open for late night dining. - E.J.
