    Review by Trevor Finn

Feeling homesick on this faux vacation? Already missing the familiar affectation of urban chic, don't fret. Just head to the end of the bar for your next round of drinks. If you look over the balcony near the deejay's turntables you'll see a much more attractive setting next door. See? You're still safe and sound in the city.

On the main level, there are private booths with black curtains and gold detail; inside, the main light of each booth is provided by a large green-glowing lamp hanging from the ceiling - and that looks like a plant, too. On the upper level of the patio, you'll find the king of all booths – a tiki hut is the focal point, a grass thatch roof covering the pillowed area underneath. It serves as a place to have an absurd amount of liquor bottles, fruit and other delicacies. This is high roller territory, to a certain degree.

Thursday nights at Grass cater to a younger crowd (20s) while Fridays are taken over by your typical post-office crowd. However, both nights offer predominately house music. Saturday nights, you'll find an older crowd (mid-30s) and the music is more of a mix. Regardless of the night, dress to impress.

This is THE worst club I have ever been to. I paid $20 for terrible music, service and the club was empty when I walked in at 11:30pm on a sat night. That's $20 I'll never see again and a couple hours I'll never get back. Life it to short to waste your time there!

Last night (Sep 8th/07) myself and two of my friends were meeting up with a group of friends for a friend's party and went into grass lounge only to realize we were in the wrong club (our mistake). We immediately realized and went to the bouncer and spoke to him about it and he was nice enough to say that it was not a problem and took us to the booth to get our money back when the girl at the booth was a total $#!%&. She was extrememly rude and was not at all willing to give us at least a portion of the money back (it was $20 per person). When we asked another girl that worked there if she could get us the manager she said "they had no time to do so". Overall the service was terrible and we would never go back there. The two minutes we were in the club itself we realized this was not a place we would enjoy anyway.

This club should be called ASS. If you want to pay $20 to have the privilege of waiting in a line for 45 minutes to check your coat, and then 60 minutes at the end of the night to retrieve your coat (if you're lucky that is since the coat check girls don't seem to have mastered the complexities of coat-checking), then this is the club for you to waste your time and money on.

Great Atmosphere and great people. Amazing service. Class all around.
No disappointment here. I'm curious of the look of the next two floors which should be opening soon.

They failed to mention the $10 Heinekens. Nice spot, but bring your black card.
