In addition to the live maritime bands on weekends, this bar has a different feature every night including comedy night Sundays followed by Trailer Park Boys on the big screen. The food is standard for a pub and is well priced and quick.
Anyone that is not a fan of pubs probably isn’t going to be converted by this establishment. But if you’re looking for a night of fun without any pretense or just looking for an escape from the clubs, Gracie’s should do it for you. - R.C. |

I would DEFINITLY NOT recommend this bar. The bouncers have the tendency to abuse their "power" and physically abuse patrons. I have confirmed this with many people as they have experienced this as well (including girls). They are highly unprofessional and it is actually very scary when they loose there cool and beat people up. I used to like the bar but I will NEVER go back there for mine and my friend safety. (btw - ive never written a bad review for anything but im confident that i would like to share this will everyone)

Arriving early on a Saturday night, 7:45, there was already a line up. We wait patiently as we watch bouncers drag someone from inside out into the street, and off Grace O Malleys' property pull his shirt over his head, knee him in the ribs and have another bouncer walk up behind this customer when he gets his shirt off and put him in a choke hold. Once the bouncer choked the customer unconscious he opened his arms stepped back and allowed the persons' head to smash into the road. I was appalled by the treatment, and how the bouncers used excessive force. He then left him lying in the middle of the street, kicking the persons watch across the pavement (which had come off with his shirt).
Gave the food and the rest the worst possible rating because there wasn't an N/A field, and assuming as all the staff treat their customers with the same amount of care and respect as their bouncers do, it probably isn't worth eating or going.

On a scale of 1 to 10 this place ranks a 10 with me! Very cool spot to hang out, like nothing else you could find downtown....always wicked live bands, not expensive at all, and hot chicks running around in mini skirts..(and thats just the staff) If your sick of the same old club scene, loud music, and people too cool for school, check out this bar. Get there early on saturday nights, or your not getting in!
