The bathroom attendant was a bit of a surprise. Washroom accoutrements seem to be geared toward the late-night crowd (read older) than the young’ns who dominate the early part of the night. Gallery certainly gets the underground/after-hours loft party vibe that was much more prevalent 10 years ago. Getting served beer in a can and mixed drinks in plastic clear cups adds to the allure of what they’re going for.
Gallery’s not-so-secret weapon is the über-cool line-up of DJs: Deko-ze, Sydney Blu and Addy have each made a name for themselves in this city. They know their music and it’s evident by the flurry of activity on the dance floor.
Its intimate confines (300 person capacity) are perfect if you want to dance all night and lose yourself in the euphoria that the DJs unleash. For first time visitors who want to dance until the wee hours of the morning, I would recommend to look casually stylish and comfortable. Also, lose the Electric Circus notion - think ‘70s dance party meets Soul Train: the Don Cornelius years.
This is the only club in the Guvernment complex where there is no access to the other rooms until 2:30am, and unlike the other clubs in this complex; the entrance is on Jarvis Street. – J.B.

Disgusting washrooms, sticky floor, rude bouncers, over priced drinks. Will not patronize this or any other Guvernment club again.
