If Heidi Klum worked for the culinary world, she would deliver a firm “aus” for use of the word kitchen, and a definitive “in” for Food Studio. No longer do culinary artists refer to their prep rooms as kitchens, but instead a Food Studio to enlighten those not-in-the-know about the inspired cuisine, creative presentations and inventive recipes that are being developed back there. Chef Lauren Boyington heads this family-friendly diner.

What is essentially the ROM’s cafeteria for more reasonably priced, family friendly meals (in contrast to Crystal Five’s gourmet, ŕ la carte offerings), Food Studio offers exotic and ethnic dishes inspired by ROM exhibitions served in an earth-friendly environment. Organic produce sourced from local Ontario farmers will also be integral to menu items.
