    Review by Brad Jamieson
It is a smooth ride at Epicure Café’s shiny, new location, the new spacious two-level lounge and eatery on Queen West.

Yes, Epicure was always on Queen West, but has recently moved shop downstream a few doors (specifically from 512 to 502 Queen Street West) where they’ve reproduced the original verbatim; a sleek, woody interior - exposed brick and wooden beams with gilded mirrors on the walls and a roof-top patio - has a soothing effect, especially coupled with a sweet strawberry mojito. - B.J.

I may have lucked out compared to the other reviewers. I've been there 3 times with different people. Service has been a bit slow, but certainly nothing to complain about, and on my first visit, it was extremely attentive.
I enjoyed my meal(s) thoroughly, and love the trivial fact that you can do 1/2 fries, 1/2 salad with most entrees.
3rd floor outside patio is quite neat and a bit of a hidden treasure in the city.

The only thing epic about Epicure is the wait - almost 2 hours for 2 sandwiches and a salad. Totally ridiculous.

My boyfriend took me to Epicure Cafe on our first date. I have to say, I enjoyed it very much :) Okay so I'm bias...regardless, I am very sure that I will go there again...perhaps on our one year ;)

    Cheers,

I had a very unpleasant experience last night, Tuesday, August 14 on the Rooftop Patio.

I arrived with a friend at 9:15 pm, placed our food order at 9:20 and other than a napkin and some flatware being placed on our table at 9:45, was not approached by our server for the rest of the evening.

At 10:05 (not a server in sight), we left the restaurant without our food.

I felt that if I was running an establishment, I would want to be aware of something like this.

I will not be back, I can assure you
