ike the Dirty Dozen (unless you're Lee Marvin or Charles Bronson), Easy's Toast Soldiers - soft boiled eggs and strips of toast, mom-style - are doomed. However, unlike the Dozen, these soldiers taste fantastic.
Peter Morrison's homey Parkdale institution is a neighbourhood brunch favourite. Offering early-bite stalwarts, from Eggs Benedict to various omelettes (try the Chevre and Pepper), as well as innovative signatures, including the coronary-inducing French Toast Croissant and the Huevos Divorciados - eggs on a tortilla, spiced up and infused with a Spanish touch, via salsa, beans, and guacamole. Easy also serves sandwiches, like a BLT and classic club, but the bug-lamp is the brunch. Wash down your eggs with one of Easy's beloved smoothies. -S.T. |

The scrambled eggs are genius! No deep frier on site so nothing terribly greasy. Pretty reasonably priced for great food.
