An original (for Toronto) concept, to be sure. And even more so to place the venture beyond the Yonge and Eglinton barrier. But it will work, by sheer design, product, and the names behind the venture. - A.J.

As dessert becomes more chic, Dufflet?s maintains the same focus that drew me to the Queen Street location: affordable, delicious desserts. I could (and have) eaten a Dufflet?s dessert everyday and never grow tired of the selection. So take your pick, 9 bucks and enjoy yourself

This is the most wonderful addition to the neighborhood, great dessert and fantastic service. Yes, it is a little expensive, but they use only the finest ingredients, plus, it is much cheaper than going out for coffee and dessert. The flavors explode in your mouth and the people who work there are incredibly nice and accommodating.

Be forewarned, this is a serious, little dessert store. What can I say, this is the only place comparable to its other location for great take home dessert. The best part is you don't have to rely on run-of-the-mill pastries here, although sometimes I feel that they are a little too high-end. I pick up cakes here once a week, and haven't regretted it yet at all. The store is beautifully done and even offers a tiny coffee station. The flower section is also worth checking out, some of the better arrangements to accompany high octane dessert... hold your breath, set the table at home, and have a nice dinner and pretend you are at a fine restaurant. At home you can eat in your underwear or a robe!
