In retrospect, I realize that even the crappy-looking sign outside is part of the theme. What started out as a brief sojourn to check out a possibly lame bar, turned into a six-hour drinking fest that felt more like two; we realized partway through the night that we had found a hot new thing. Slick and modern Dakota is not, so if your friends want sleek, tell them, drawl and all, to go fuck themselves. – T.F.
