2 Reader Reviews | Dear Manager:
Today Saturday October 27th. I was at Club Lucky Restaurant on John street.
I was there for the first time last time last week due to a friend of mine's recommendation. We had not so good service last week but the food was quiet good.
At the exit the owner asked us how everything was and I was really nice in just saying service could improve not making a big deal that our waitress was not very attentive and was gone for a while from our table.
Anyways my issue is pretty much about tonight I told a friend of mine you know we didn't have such a great service last week but the food is quiet good.
So we came in around 7 ish place was not too busy. We order drinks and our food. We were sitting in the back of the restaurant and suddenly we have one of the waitresses asking us if it was ok with us to take part of the table we were sitting for a group of six that was coming. So we said it's ok go ahead.
Our table gets pretty much reduced and someone takes my coat away then our waitress again this time a blod girl is "Gone". My companion and I are waiting and waiting and waiting pretty much seems like the expectation of groups reflects on the quality of service to small parties of two. I felt totally ignored waiting and waiting for someone to bring the bill. I actually had to stand up and go look for wherever my coat was hanging due to lack of attention to our presence after this group arrangements needed to be done.
I work for a Concert Productions Company in the Yorkville area and I go out quiet a bit and my review of Restaurnat Lucky is : The food is quiet good but the service can be improved waitresses don't come back and follow up on their tables, when they first come they don't even say my name is whoever I will be your waitress tonight. they don't seem very friendly.
First time it was ok sometimes it is understandable that when groups are coming all the attention and stress goes towards that but me as a Customer I feel totally disrepected when I am left at the table trying to flag anybody who would walk by to get my check and somebody else gets my food on a doggie bag because I don't feel comfortable anymore due to all the arrangements for groups that are expected.
I am writting this to the owner of the restaurant whom actually was outside last week and personally asked my party and me how was it and I just said it was good the food was quiet good but the service can be improved.
I told all my friends at work about how great the ambiance and food is but certainly it would be hard for me to go back there having had this second experience tonight.
Hopefully somebody might this comments serious and I could hear back from you. There is no worse feeling than feeling as a customer unappreciated and ignored. I am a Customer Service and Public Relations Manager in Downtown Toronto and is good for your business to have this kind of feedback someone who takes the time to write back so you can improve your business.
Looking forward to hearing some feedback.
