World renowned Chef Albino Silva brings his “Progressive Portuguese” flavours to Toronto with his new restaurant Chiado. The menu has a fish focus with a variety of scrumptious Salmon dishes to temp any willing diners. The sleek European design also provides customers with a hip atmosphere that will give them an enjoyable superiority complex for the duration of the meal. Deserts are a Silva specialty and a necessary part of any visit to the restaurant. This is fine and refined dining that should please foodies and scenesters everywhere. – P.B.

We saw mice droppings and the owner seemed to careless. This place is disgusting. Awful food and terrible terrible wine list to boot.

Food was outstanding, service was top notch. Chiado is by far my favorite restaurant in Toronto and myself and my guests were impressed as always.

I came here once with a group of friends to celebrate my roommates graduation from UofT. The food was incredibly delicious and the atmosphere was one that would take some serious effort to feel suffocated in. Located on College Street, you might want to come here after you've gotten your masters in anything, following a job to pay for dinner....it's like paying off a loan. Be warned.

Great food in a great place. The service was great. Our faves- salmon and the couscous was to die for! Don't forget to have a drink at the end of the meal.

If you are a resident of the neighborhood then this is the spot. I'm not even a resident and it's still the spot. My mother lives just four blocks away which is why I have been enlightened with Chiado.
