    Review by Don Ellis

    There's no denying the ambition that went into Century. It takes a few club promoters with vision to whip a pre-owned space into a nightlife frenzy, and these club promoters definitely have the vision: what could have been yet another grease-dripping Italian eatery has instead become a glossy, cocktail lounge for post-Lee diners. - D.E.

    Century Room SUCKS!! Do NOT go here!! Tried to go to the David Guetta Pop Life launch...was told tickets were $20 at the door and there is no guest list...get there at 8:30 pm only to find out that there IS in fact a guest list and that they will be letting those people in at 9pm...waited in line until 11:30 and I had not moved in line even though I was only 10 spots from the door, meanwhile I watched dozens of people pass in front of me. And to top it off, the price was raised from $20 to $30 to $40 WHILE we were standing in line. I'm pretty sure that's illegal!

    3. Jane Sanders's Review :: July 15, 2007
    After clubbing in Toronto for at least 5 years, I have never had a WORST experience at a club. The bar staff was extremely rude, for I started a bar tab with my credit card and they REFUSED to return my card for payment on demand. The bar tender was the MOST RUDE UNEDUCATED woman I have ever met, and when I contacted security about her abrupt behavior, security provided NO assistance and handled the situation poorly. I will never return to this club for it is not worth my time for service that does not even deserve one star. I personally hope the establishment gets shut down, for it is places like Century that give Toronto a bad name.

    people are tacky tacky tacky! Music is good, venue is very posh, but mostly "wanna-be's, and queen bees", not a fun crowd.

    I had an amazing time. It is beautiful with a great crowd.

    My favourite features:
    1) Live musician playing bongo drums along with the club music added an extra kick.
    2) Rose petals fell from the ceiling once in a while, creating a sexy atmosphere while you're dancing with your man.

    Too bad the staff are rude as they serve over-priced drinks.

    I have to say since opening over a year ago, there is no better venue in Toronto. First the its a great looking venue with a great crowd. The staff is very professional and you feel welcome every time you go. I read some negative reviews,and all I have to say is that you guys must have been at a different club or something. Trust me, go, enjoy and have fun, you'll see me there.

    This is a very beautiful place, but unfortunately that is all it is. The atmosphere is good for about ten minutes, and after you get over the nice decor, you are left standing in a quit boring place. I had dinner there with a friend, and the food was good. The service on the other hand was slow, which it shouldn't of been for such a quiet place. Much cooler places to stop by in the King West area.

    As far as posh clubs go, this place is pretty nice. Beautifully designed, good looking people. The crowd is around the mid-20's, with a nice balance of females to males. While the crowd is trendy, it's not as pretentious as
    other King Street West establishments can get.
    What I loved about this place was the bottle service! One of the best by far, they'll keep returning to your both to check up on things.
