There is no wine steward to guide you through Celestin's exemplary wine list, though the waiters we consulted gave informed and knowledgeable suggestions. We can't help but think this restaurant deserves a sommelier. However, that's about our only quibble with Celestin these days. - J.R.

We tried Celestin during summerlicious and couldn't have had a better experience. The food was wonderful and the service relaxed but attentive. We can't wait to go back for their regular menu.

Disappointed, especially by the service which was kind of smarmy, and error-ridden (plates brought to wrong table, error on the bill) and by the fact our waiter kind of rushed us to order food, and then later was nowhere to be found when dessert was overdue, and the bill was overdue.

The wine and food were overpriced as well. The much-lauded rabbit ravioli was good, not great, and swimming in oil. Likewise the ribs were very yummy but heavy. And I was really underwhelmed by the late-arriving desserts.

Very disappointing - the food tastes good but represents very poor value for the high prices (e.g. for $39 I would not expect only half of a small lobster). Main course arrive with very few, if any vegetables - are you supposed to eat a bowl of broccoli for your health before leaving home? Service is great until you have to complain about something; then the dining room manager takes offence, presumably with the chef's approval. Cannot recommend this restaurant. I would award no stars if that were available.
