The restaurant takes its name from the types of dishes they serve (very unoriginal, I know); a variety of vegetables and meat (clams, seafood or pork) is cooked in a massive copper dome/wok style device with a matching copper lid called the Cataplana. As a result of this boiling/steaming cooking combination, your dinner arrives full of flavour, meat juicy and succulent, and vegetables doused in the accompanying sauces. Your server also acts as an experience sommelier, recommending a perfectly matching bottle of vino to accompany your dinner from their well-stocked cellar.
