T his quiet little King Street location originally opened over a year ago, but had to be shut down once the pipes burst and flooded the restaurant. But now it's back. Reinvented as a more small scale café focusing on regional cuisine from northern Italy, this is a surprising little eatery with tasty dishes like free range chicken and grilled shrimp in a champagne citrus sauce served with daily market vegetables or pizza with tomato sauce, gorgonzola, caramelized onions, and smoked chicken. The chef is Luis Valenzuela, who comes takes over the kitchen after earning his chops at Bymark and North 44. You're in good hands here. Give that tongue a treat.

1 Reader Reviews | The Rigatoni, Tortellini, Agnolotti and most specials are fantastic. The ambiance is very relaxing and a nice quiet spot for a romantic inexpensive dinner or low-key dinner with friends. We live in the area and have been often. The only complaint we have is that they don't seem to appreciate the loyalty in the community.
