tep right up, young hipster you, see the miracle material molded into a hundred different spine-tingling shapes. You've seen it before, it's just frozen water, but you've never seen it like this.
Toronto’s hip nightlife ascends to a new level at minus 5 degrees at Ice Lounge, C Lounge’s chilly baby brother. To create the concept, owners have cooled its back patio with about 200 000 pounds of ice, supplanting the pool-side area with a frozen, built-on-location den, then filled it with tables and chairs made of ice.
In fact, everything is made from ice; from the 18-foot bar and the seating to the martini and shot glasses, everything has been formed with crystal-clear ice. Thank international icemakers, Iceculture Inc. for their determination to re-produce ice replicas of absolutely everything their little heads can think of.
It might be hard to get excited about getting out of the cold, and into, well, more cold, but you have to give Ice Lounge points for originality. Never has the entertainment district seen anything like this, and that alone deserves a nod. What’s most impressive is the wattage that goes into keeping an Ice lounge from becoming a slush lounge; about 90 000 BTU’s keep the area at a frigid -5 degrees.

Awesome place to party in summer. The outside patio is huge and very nice they even had fashion shows happening there. The interior design of it is nice but when its too overcrowded its impossible to stand. Over all a nice place.

This is full of ugly people! They pick and choose who gets in and the girl with the guestlist purposely doesn't let the hot girls get in. I was so disappointed in the crowd. If you are Ugly and overweight, you can get into C-lounge.

customer service is sooo bad.
wanted to make sure my guest of about 40+ gets in on an important event.
Emailed and called numerous numbers of time but never even got back to me.
i would have to take my party to a different venue thats for sure.
For a business that relies on word of mouth, experience and people, they sure dont know how to keep business.
yes the place and concept looks absolutely amazing but with the way theyre treating guests, they wont be able to keep the crowd coming.
its too bad.

When C Lounge first opened, it was hot! After awhile, it did loose its appeal (like most places). However, it is making a comeback. The place is awlays busy (even Monday nights!). The crowd is good-looking and the music is great.

On Oct 28 2006, I celebrated my birthday at C Lounge. Before deciding on where to party, I read many many horrible reviews of C Lounge, and frankly was very worried about how my night would turn out. However I'm very thankful I didn't experience anything close to that. I got hooked up very nicely because of the work done by the Guest Services at the hotel I was staying and the driver of car that we arrived in. It's a decent lounge! Atmosphere was very nice! Seating was comfortable! Drinks were well made! Music was amazing! Service in the washroom/spa was kind and polite! My only complaint was one of the bartenders that had a slight misunderstanding of our order. It was later in the evening, and we orders a few waters. She apparently clarified that they were vodka-waters and not just waters. None of my party recalls her doing that. However after she brought the vodka-waters, and we told her we just wanted waters, she didn't bother bringing us the waters, and she also didn't look at us again. Not really an issue, because she knows she wasn't getting any money from us on that order, but accepting a mistake in the service industry has never been down upon. Overall I rate C Lounge: 4 indoor designer water fall fixtures out of 5!
Thanks martiniboys.com!!!!

Went on a Saturday night, called at 8pm to find out if there was a guest list. The person who answered said no, so we got there for 11pm and see this lady standing outside with a clipboard. She was letting guestlist ppl in (there was some company party for models and then "jess" who had a list of 40ppl). I was a bit peeved about that, and then it was us and like 40 other ppl standing in a semi circle....there was no order no line no nothing. So i just pushed myself forward, waited patiently and the bouncer (buff asian dude, really mean looking but very nice) randomly chose who went in. w/in 15mins of that we got in.
For 11:30 the place seemed a bit dead, just filled w/those two groups on guestlist, but the atmosphere was really chic and the patio was swanky if i dont say so myself! Music picked up and everyone was dancing....the crowd was mixed and the avg age was around 22-30. My only real complaint was the bathroom wait....45mins AT LEAST!!! we eventually of that :D

This place Blows BIG time. I never got into the establishment.
Myself and my friends were there for a bday and the douche bag bouncer made us wait although we were on the guestlist (no others were outside waiting to get in at this time).
He then made us line up which we did, but then he started to let in random people in e.g 300lb Paris hilton wanna be (sweetheart if you read this; give it up..you don't look a single bit like her!)
He proceeded to let people in that were not of east indian or coloured origin which disturbed our group. we decided to leave and visit another esablishment.
It was quicker and easier to get into the better clubs in las vegas than it is to get into Pee-lounge.

Went there for a friend's birthday on a Thursday night, we went early for the Pad Thai stations and 3$ martinis. I thought it would be too good to be true and I was right, the Pad Thai was horrible and the 3$ martinis were actually 3$ shots. The place was completely dead... the only nice thing about the place was the friendly bar staff. If the food were better, more people it would have potential.

Advice: Don't even try.
Not once. In my life. Have I ever been this upset over a bar: Our friends met at C Lounge at about 10:15 p.m. for a birthday party (the establishment has no guest list on a Saturday). We stood at the front of the line in the blistering cold. Eventually, the line became a shivering semi-circle of bodies pressed against the velvet rope. The bar staff/bouncers created a free-for-all. The only system for entrance seemed to be how much paper you put into the bouncer's palm. One said to us: "Call a number" (or how much are you willing to pay to stop standing here like a fool in the snow? On top of the cover charge, no less.) They were rude and arrogant.
Some of my friends (including the birthday boy) suffered through the wait and eventually got in after midnight (they surrendered and paid $20 each). I walked away.
No business that respects its customers should treat people that way. And no one should have to take that kind of treatment from anyone, at anytime.
