he apothecary is the character in Romeo and Juliet who sells Romeo the poison that leads to the play's tragic ending. Like that character, Apothecary, the former Adelaide club, has served up its last concoction. Brin has taken over the clubland space and takes full advantage of the large rooftop patio as a place to relax with a cold one and survey the clubbing madness below. The lounge has DJs most nights but cultivates a rather laid-back type of atmosphere. But that doesn’t mean a bit of booty shaking isn’t in order.
