You could get high from the bus fumes at this Parkdale spot, and sometimes it puts a hovering damper on the smell of the grilled diner food. The view is not exactly breathtaking, but the prices are fair. It's a big-morning-on-the-town kind of place. Thanks, Beav. - B.J.

Ahhhh my little beaver - I cannot live without a weekly pilgramage for the amazing little brunch thing. Al's is the best spot on earth. There is no comparison. If you are looking for that classic hole in the wall timeless resteraunt beaver is it!!!! If you are from the downtown or just visiting you gotta visit the girls.

I've eaten numerous times at the Beaver and now with the addition of the back patio, many more brunches to come! Yes, the portions are not large, but perfect so you're never too bloated to try on an overpriced Brazilian bikini down the street. I love the toasted olive bread and using the expresso steamer to steam cook the scrambled eggs is genius! No deep fyer on site so nothing greasy. Pretty reasonabley priced for quality healthy food.

STARVING ARTISTS NEED TO EAT FOOD CHEAP!
Beaver cafe is fresh, clean, new and rough around the edges .[sink those drywall screws into the wood - ouch!]which fits in with parkdale, that gives them one star. prices are good.... which would give them more stars - if there was actually food on the plate. the decor is a bit off, something is missing. we see they rented the big shiney fiama machine and they should have gotten the smaller one so that they can sever more food on the plate. STARVING ARTISTS NEED TOO EAT FOOD IN VERY LARGE PORTIONS FOR CHEAP. The cheap they got, large portins they did not. definately NOT a hangover breakfast spot. Keep trying, beaver represents canada and we like our grease in the morning!
