Bar 244 opens at 4 Wednesday to Friday, and 7 on Saturday making it an after work destination. With rail drinks at 3 bucks a pop, $4/5 Coronas and martinis respectively, you can be assured that you will be sauced by dinner.

The lower level features a luxe lounge area which oversees the dance floor. There, a dj spins retro rock and top 40 on Friday and Saturday nights. Dark browns and beiges in the additional bar area, as well as exposed brick, unify the lower with the upper level. This allows for a smooth transition from happy hour cocktails and a casual dinner to late night all-out partying.

Bar 244 is appealing for cheap drinks and simple bar food. Let's just hope it doesn't go the way of the Dirk Gentley's and Victory Sport Bar.
