amed Boho, but catering toward the Bobo crowd, this laid-back but upscale neighbourhood resto on Roncey serves contempo cool fare as well as offering a brunch menu, a BYOW option, and cooking classes. Someone should open a restaurant called Hobo; it shouldn't serve soup, because that would be too antagonistic. Nice gloves, though.

7 Reader Reviews | We've been fans of Boho for ages. Always found the staff friendly and helpful. The Caesar salad with hot potato croutons is to die-for. Sitting near the door can be chilly in winter, though.

My husband and I recently went to Boho for our wedding anniversary. The service and food was fantastic. My husband is on a salt restricted diet and the staff had no problem adjusting the menu for him. Everything was done with a smile. I love this place!

We have just recently discovered BOHO and are still thanking our friends who live in High Park area for recommending this fantastic place. No doubt, this cosy bistro is now on our list of absolute favourites in the West end of Toronto.
Everything from a great atmosphere and excellent service to delicious meals, cocktails and wine was superb...
Although it was a Saturday night, it never felt too crowded, but while the seating is well-arranged, I would recommend calling ahead to make a reservation, even if it's just for a table for two (I noticed that the restaurant filled up very quickly).
Friendly and very knowledgeable staff definitely deserves much recognition. Our server's suggestions never dissapointed us, and the timing was perfect throughout the evening. We never felt rushed and had enough time to enjoy every course.
We started with a round of BOHO bourbon cocktails while our server decanted a nice bottle of Tempranillo (also her suggestion). I have to note that BOHO's wine list is very impressive and offers a variety of wines to accompany any taste and preference.
We shared some appetizers among four of us, and they were spectacular: perfectly spiced grilled calamari, baked Camembert (nice alternative to Brie) and beef Carpaccio...
BOHO's entrees list offers a fantastic selection of meat and fish dishes. My husband opted for the prime rib steak (17 oz!!!), and I tried maple chipotle glazed grilled salmon. Both were mouthwatering. Even the vegetables were delicious: cooked to perfection mix of zucchini, beets, broccoli, carrots and green beans.
My special round of applause goes to BOHO's Asiago scalloped potatoes - by far the BEST I have ever had. The desserts were just as amazing. We shared a molten chocolate cake and a citrus tart with raspberry sorbet - heavenly!
Needless to say, we were very impressed and are looking forward to our next visit. Nicely done, BOHO. We will be back.

Absolutely horrid. A real nightmare. I went for my Formal with my sorority--the layout split us up so I could only speak with 3 of my 30 friends, the doorway let in a horrid draft so we were all shivering, the barstaff were blunt and the chef was simply malicious.
We had e-mailed and phoned and spoken in person several times about the menu with this venue, and had given them months of warning and prep about what I would and would not consume. I had even sent in several VERY easy menu suggestions (eg: simple boiled pasta tossed with some roasted vegetables--which were the side for the steak anyway..)
On the night of, I talk to the "chef" to let them know I was "the vegan" (i had never spoken in person with any of them, only the organizer had) and she FLIPPED OUT on me. She yelled at me for not telling her in advance, she spat out a lecture about how hard and horrid the life path I had chosen was going to be, and how much extra work I'd put on her. When I made suggestions about ways she could use the current menu to just give me sides etc. she threw my suggestion back in my face. When I said even plain fruit would work for dessert she refused--after admitting they did HAVE fruit. In the end myself and two or three others who did not want the conventional menu's dessert SHARED a SINGLE mango and a SINGLE kiwi, with some frail shreds of mint overtop.
The worst meal of my life, and I go to restaurants twice weekly at least--no other restaurant has ever been anything short of pleasant about my veganism, and while some have failed to impress--ALL have tried, except for BOHO.
I would rate it a zero, if that were an option.

Fantasic food and service. It is a very interactive resturant where the kitchen is open and right in the middle of the resturant. The chef is a great cook and a pleasent person as is the staff that works there. The only down side I could possibly think of is that the seating is a bit crowded but the food is well worth it.
