Ever since Archie got back from Bologna, he has insisted that everyone Italianize his name. At first, Jug Head refused, but glutton placation is simple: Archeo kept feeding him (and feeding him and feeding him); now Jug conforms. Sometimes, not always, but sometimes, nothing goes better with an artful plate of pasta than a towering pint of draught. Sure, red wine is the go to, but you're not a lemming, are you? A sheep? Trust me on this. In an industrial-esque fine-dining Italian eatery like Archeo Trattoria, suds go well. Ask Midge (but beware of Moose). -S.T.

We have our company christmas party at Archeo for the 2nd year in a row. I went out of my way to recommend this venue to our entire company and our budget for this event is not exactly "chump change" to say the least. The events coordinator unfortunately has been constantly unavailable and when I do finally get a hold for her after calling 10 times in a span of 3 days (no exaggeration there), she is RUDE and UNACCOMODATING, as if I am causing her an inconvinience for wanting to speak 3 days before the big event! To make things worse, she is unapologetic for her rude demeanor and implied that I should understand since she is so busy. I agree with the other reviews, save your money for a place that does not hire service staff that needs a personality makeover.

Although the restaurant has a nice decor, but it was the worst italian food ever. Very limited menu! I ordered Seafood Fettucine and I could not even finish it because it tasted so bad. The waitress did not take care of us at all. I had to keep on calling her to pick up the empty plates or for more water. She did not remember who ordered which dish. I paid 50 bucks per person and took my parents over there. It is not worth it, save your money.
