Weekends fill it with castaways from surrounding bars: a great mix of big sexy chicks in latex pants, well-groomed kids, and bugbears in AC/DC T-shirts who pantomime all the drum fills to War Pigs.
This is, after all, life in a happy, friendly beer commercial kind of way. - A.J.

4 Reader Reviews | Good restaurant at which to grab a bite during the film festival. Just across the street from the future home of the TIFF, this trendy restaurant is a perfect place for a meal before or after a show. Close to many of the hot spots, it provides great drinks, good food, and a trendy interior and staff.

My Dad came into town from Detroit. I took him here and he loved it. So did I. Both of us had the fish special. We split a bottle of wine reccomended by our server. The whole experience was freally fun. Alice Fazooli?s is very packed in. It is loud and jammed up but they manage to make it work somehow. It is a hangout and a place to kick. The only knock I have on them is that they lost our coats and it took them awhile to find them after dinner.

OK not great. The food is good, I dont know why the bad reviews on that part. OK I agree, it's kind of annoying how they try too hard to be this swank place that they are not. There are better places in T.O., but worth a try none the less.

I strongly recommend Alice Fazooli's
i can't believe the reiview I have read here. My wife and I ate there for the first time this weekend and we had a fantastic time. We sat outside in their beautiful patio and enjoyed the one man acoustic entertainment. I ordered probably one of the best chicken dishes I have ever had. My wife loved her portabello ravioli with a lovely merlot. The service was great. The food was great. The atmosphere and the entertainment was great. I saw no AC/DC clad wall flowers or latex pants, only well groomed, stylish and trendy patrons enjoying an upscale evening out. Very reasonable price for the calibre of meal and atmosphere. I have already made plans to return next Saturday with several friends to share this restaurant with them. I strongly recommend Alice Fazooli's to anyone looking for great meal and a good time.
