South Pacific :: Ongoing
  his 1949 Rogers and Hammerstein classic is sure to draw in big crowds based on name recognition alone. I can’t say I’ve ever been particularly impressed with the play (far too many cross-dressing sailors for my liking). Still, as far as family-friendly musical performances go, you could do much worse than this wartime sailor love story. Plus it one the Pulitzer Prize, so you can enjoy the simple pleasures of musical theatre guilt free, knowing that at one point this production was taken seriously. –P.B.
