The Richoh R8 has a 10 megapixel CCD and a large high-resolution 2.7-inch LCD screen guaranteed to take professional quality photos while still be easy enough to use that a brain damaged chimpanzee with only one eye could operate it. The exterior of the camera has also been reworked since Richoh’s last model. The sleek exterior follows the Apple model of minimalist design, emphasizing functionality of aesthetics. Throw in a 7.1X wide-angle zoom lens, built-in image editing capabilities, plus countless other bells and whistles, and you’ve got yourself a camera that simply demands to be owned.

Never again will you find yourself lugging a cumbersome camera over your neck during a European vacation or family reunion. Now you’ll be able to whip a camera out of your pocket without any concern for losing image quality. The Ricoh will produce images sharp enough to impress your photography nerd friends, while still being compact enough to impress everyone else. High definition digital photography just got accessible. What a time to be alive.
