With a prime spot in SoHo, La Crepe Parisienne has opened its doors to the masses. And with a name like that, it has to be pretty authentic, right? Well that depends on your definition of authenticity. See, despite the moniker, French-as-French-can-get moniker, La Crepe Parisienne is actually a Mexican chain, with 30 restaurants already in existence south of the border.
Depending on how you feel about Mexicans opening a place that claims to be from Paris right in the title, this place is still pretty intriguing. The restaurant serves at least eight different varieties of crepes, plus a selection of paninis, and the sidewalk patio offers some excellent Spring Street people-watching.
