arker Black revives a 125 year old shoe company inspired by the 17th lancers, an ancient British regiment. Also revived is the scull and crossbones logo, which is painstakingly incorporated into every loafer. They claim that this supplies some individualism in the strict conventions of formal attire, such that it is appropriate even for a businessman in the strictest workplace, which makes sense considering that you probably have to be a businessman in order to afford a pair. The shoes start at $650.
