High fashion and low fashion merged long ago and while each still maintains some defining characteristics, it often remains difficult to separate the two. Enter the sleek glass doors and blinding white walls of this Broadway boutique and you’ll know immediately which of the two worlds into which you’ve just ventured. Although D&G carries less expensive clothing that full-on Dolce & Gabbana stores, it still begs to be taken as seriously as its larger sister stores. Not quite high fashion, D&G is frequented by a younger crowd who, I can only imagine, have been given free reign of their parent’s credit card. -L.D.
