here are a select group of people in this world that have the last name Diamond, and upon calling their cellphones who do you reach? None other than “The Diamond”. Those without the last name Diamond suffer from jealousy and frustration at their own last name shortcomings, yet are quickly relieved when they realize the trivial nature of their feelings and the annoyance of always answer the phone with “it’s The Diamond”.

Dave Pollack and wife Anne (who aren’t christened Diamond) have truly found a gem in the rough here with their craft beer, Greenpoint eatery. Pay homage to microbrewery brewski here and nibble on a small menu of ale-friendly appetizers. Opening Late Summer 2007.
