 ppealing to the color of royalty, this purple underground dance club has attracted flashy fashionistas to attention-craving celebs. The lucky success of Tenjune, hidden under the luxury steakhouse STK, must have something to do with the horseshoe shaped dancefloor. A black leather bar showcases a series of glowing cocktail concoctions, and the DJ booth has even housed P. Diddy.
 From Fergie Album release parties to Rev. Run surprise birthday events, many a plebian will have a hard time getting by the velvet red ropes here.

tons of fun but too many drunken teeny boppers. the most interesting and attractive people there were the bouncers. hands down!

I recently visited this club by invitation and when I got to the rope, I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I, along with some of my friends ended up at another, better club.

Tenjune is quite possibly the most over-rated place in NYC. OK, fine for celebritied, I am sure they get treated wonderful, but for anyone else, its a waste of time. I was actually on one of the owners list through a friend and was given such a hard time getting into the place. Not only that, but the bouncers and security at the door were horribly disrepectful and rude. I have never in my life witnessed men treating women so horribly. They act as if they are above everyone, which is so not the case. And even when you get in its really not all that great. Bottom line, bouncers need to lose thier attitude and learn how to treat women!
