fter a lengthy affair with Greenwich Village, Shopsins General Store has made the Essex Street Market its new home after rumors of its opening dissipated for many months. Patrons may be fooled by the resto's small size but in fact its menu offers hundreds of items each uniquely named. 'Blisters on my Sisters,' may sound less than appetizing but its corn tortillas, bean, rice/veg mixture, covered with two fried eggs concoction is covered with cheese that's melted until it browns and bubbles. There's also 'Sloppy Joe's Egg Burrito,' and Fluffernutter sandwiches but I can hardly do the menu justice here, you're just going to have to check it out for yourself.
