 hen I say public, you say – library! Growing up in any metropolitan city, it’s natural that one automatically associates the literary institution with the masses. This is exactly what the owners were banking on.
Patrons can expect the environment of Public to house the old school library accoutrements that plagued your public school life. Bookshelves galore and matching wooden librarian card catalogues give the space a bookish charm that is a tad too kitsch, though the low lighting, if not Chef Brad Farmerie’s cuisine, more than makes up for it. - E.J.
