It's not every day that you come across a restaurant that serves Jyu Wari Soba, cold soba noodles made from %100 buckwheat flour. Onigashima prides itself on being the only restaurant in the US that imports the highest quality buckwheat flour (Kirishita soba ko) from a company in Japan that has been producing the flour since 1772.These delicate noodles are served with a zesty dipping sauce and due to such a high demand, only 20 orders are made each day.

Onigashima is also probably the only restaurant that talks about noodles having a soul so they must be pretty damn good.
