ddly enough, this resto’s moniker did not stem from a nasally Fran Drescher greeting though it’s fair to assume that stuffy accents are requirements of the wait staff.

This shi-shi venue has enticed the upper echelon of the Upper East Side for a few years now with relatively excellent cuisine, an astronomically expensive menu, and the “see and be seen” promise of elitist society. Frequent patrons have the requisite dining outfit down to a T – Prada handbag, Christian Louboutin pumps and any dress from the current hot couture labels.

If you show up in jeans and a tee without an A-list status, prepare to suffer from snarky comments, cutting glares and the occasional hiss – this place is for those with mucho money in the bank.
