Don’t be confused by the name – this is not sneaky Asian slang for motherfucker noodle bar that has somehow escaped the censors of city hall. Rather the name translates to the more obvious “Lucky Peach”. Despite the name, questionable eating behaviour is encouraged here to show the chef appreciation for your noodles so be prepared to get your slurp on and noisily suck back some Shanghai thick noodles in the Pork Neck Ramen dish.
If you prefer to munch on steamed buns, chicken, shitake or Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings are at your disposal. More adventurous appetites will be pleased by the pan-fried soft-shell crabs served with pickled garlic shoots, almonds, pickled cherries and roasted ramps. The seasonal menu is also available, heavy on the kimchi and miso, but overall delicious.
