ou gotta hand it to former Hungarian model turned-socialista Marion Nagy, she had a knack for brining people together. For well over twenty years, this was the place of literati and artists alike, coming together under one roof top to sip and schmooze. Sadly in 1973 Marion closed her joint but the party continued. In 1990 her son, working from old photographs, restored the space to its former glory.

With a spectacular disco ball under which everyone looks like royalty, especially the drag queens who favor the place, Marion's is once again a classy affair. It might not be the 1960's anymore but damn if we aren't going have a ball!
