eannie Yuen's Izakaya-style restaurant has everything from crazy skewer technology to junior high scantron bubble sheets taking your order. Phew—I always hated multiple choice anyways.
This midtown eatery is what we can call fast food gone chic. Simple design, baby meat skewers on a bed of sesame rice with miso soup is fairly customary, although slightly pricey for what you get. Some patrons say they have left feeling hungry, but that may be because Americans are just used to super size—everything and Kushi Q could be helping our waistline by eating in moderation. It’s a very adorable restaurant and worth a try, even if most of it may be eye candy. -AC
