n the ‘60s it was the inspiration of a young lady that made Ipanema’s location a household name with the tune “The Girl From Ipanema”. The beauty of Brazilian amazons has since been spread through the world (thank Giselle) with their killer bodies; perhaps it’s their diet that keeps them lean?
Trying out some Brazilian cuisine won’t hurt anyways, and where else to get it in NYC than Ipanema? But one caution – if you happen to see a sexy lady save the cat call for Brazil. The NYPD is a bit rougher than the South American police force. –E.J.
