The Sushi of Gari makes the Upper West Side its home with this minimalist sushi restaurant. Sushi master Chef Sugio has been purveying his raw fish creations to palates that fiend for the sashimi and rice pieces of art that arrive on your plate. While this is not THE spot for sushi snobs, it bodes well among locals that are happy to pay $55 for a ten-piece omakase and reliable rawness.
